Along Came a Spider (2001) ![]() ![]() ![]() Cross asks that Jezzie be allowed to assist on the case. While the FBI believes that the kidnapper is just after money, Cross discovers that Soneji appears to be fixated on the historic kidnapping of the Lindbergh baby from the 1930s. Alex and Jezzie try to decipher clues that they hope will eventually lead to him and the kidnapped girl. My take on this film: I am told Kiss the Girls was pretty good (I haven't seen it). Well, take a truck and drive through all of the plot holes in this one and you might have more fun. And that doesn't even begin to address the absurdity of a kidnapper who isn't after money and who is insane enough to play guessing games with the detectives on his case. I'm not experienced in this, but isn't the point of a crime to get away with it? Why would you deliberately leave clues? If you ever get a chance to see this movie, pass it up.
